Accounting Manager (Hybrid) - Japanese Bilingual

A leading Japanese travel company is seeking an experienced and bilingual Accounting professional to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can oversee accounting operations, support financial reporting, and collaborate with both U.S. and Japan-based stakeholders. Position: Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager Location: Oahu, Hawaii – (Hybrid) 【Key Responsibilities】 Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate headquarters in Japan Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Lead and mentor accounting staff while improving operational processes and internal controls Support business planning and financial analysis for management decision-making Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and travel business teams Other duties may be assigned as needed 【Qualifications】 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, preferred 7+ years of Finance & Accounting experience, preferred 5+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferred Business-level bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (spoken and written) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience working in an international or Japanese company environment is preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
