Vascular Technologist - Per Diem

Performs all carotid and peripheral vascular testing as ordered by the physician; educates patients and family concerning diagnostic testing that identifies vascular disease processes; interacts with members of the health care team to provide quality care for the patient. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Graduate of AMA approved school of diagnostic medical sonography with specialty in vascular technology or practical experience gained in a diagnostic vascular setting combined with continuing education with references to support competency. Minimum 1-2 years on the job clinical experience or new graduate of an AMA approved school of diagnostic medical sonography. Proficient in carotid & peripheral vascular testing utilizing diagnostic imaging ultrasound equipment; capable of troubleshooting equipment issues; proven competency to adhere to the medical center's established scanning protocols; basic computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
