Patient Service Representative

What Youll Do:

• Greet and register patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate data entry into the hospital system.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with financial clearance processes.
• Collect necessary documentation and obtain patient signatures.
• Perform cashiering and payment collection duties as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely bed placement.
• Confirm insurance eligibility and communicate coverage details to patients.
• Support discharge processing in collaboration with Case Management and Financial Counseling.
• Serve as a welcoming presence in the ER, guiding patients and visitors with empathy and professionalism.

What You Bring:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced hospital setting.
• Familiarity with insurance verification is a MUST
• Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable pushing mobile computer carts and being on your feet in the ER.

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-Time | Contract to hire roles
• $25/HR
• Most shifts require weekend and holiday availability

Mission Viejo

• 1 Full-Time Main Admitting: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• 2 Part-Time Openings: Variable morning shifts with start times between 6:00 AM-9:00 AM; may float between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach

Orange

• 2 Night Shift Openings: Variable start times between 7:00 PM-8:00 PM
• 1 Mid Shift Opening: Variable start times of 12:30 PM, 3:00 PM, or 5:00 PM

Fullerton

• 1 Part-Time Night Shift Opening: Saturdays and Sundays, 8-hour shifts
• 1 Mid Shift Opening: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; Sunday and Wednesday off; 8-hour shifts with variable start times between 1:00 PM-3:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
