Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce diagnostic images intended for physician evaluation
- Engage in collaboration with radiologists and the interdisciplinary care team for accurate diagnosis
- Ensure correct patient positioning and calibrate imaging equipment for maximum efficiency
- Strictly follow radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and staff
- Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and upkeep of equipment
- Provide thoughtful patient care during the imaging process
- Foster an organized, safe, and efficient imaging environment
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited program in radiology
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or the ability to secure within 90 days of employment
- Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients and multidisciplinary team members
- Strong adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- A detail-oriented attitude coupled with a profound sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
