Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Licensed Insurance Agent role based in Tampa, FL. The Licensed Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, explain coverage options, and recommend suitable health and life insurance products. The role includes generating new business through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement, as well as managing a personal book of business. Daily responsibilities involve preparing quotes, processing applications, following up on leads, and ensuring timely policy renewals and updates. The agent will also provide ongoing customer service, assist with claims‑related questions, maintain accurate records in CRM or agency management systems, and stay current on industry regulations, carrier products, and compliance requirements. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong understanding of Insurance products and basic Finance concepts to effectively explain coverage, premiums, and policy value to clients. Proven Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client‑first mindset. Current state license as a Health and/or Life Insurance Agent (or eligibility and willingness to obtain required licenses promptly). Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships through ethical, consultative selling. Comfort using digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms for prospecting, quoting, and policy management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Previous experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or financial services environment is preferred.
