Job Responsibilities
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and devise individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families effective therapy methods that encourage ongoing progress at home.
  • Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring that patients remain on track.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Ongoing educational opportunities or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
Skills
