Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Therapy Programs: Assess patient needs and curate individualized treatment strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply best practice approaches to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functions
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods that will support ongoing recovery at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure consistent progress

Qualifications

• Earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Encouragement for continuing education and additional certifications

Certifications

• Possession of an active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
