Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

PCU RN – Progressive Care Unit

Shift: Nights, 3x12

Assignment: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Minimum 1 year RN experience required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring

Familiarity with respiratory support and complex med-surg patients

Provide patient care in a progressive care environment, monitoring and managing patients with cardiac, respiratory, and complex medical needs.

Conduct telemetry monitoring and recognize dysrhythmias.

Administer IV medications and manage central line care.

Participate in rapid response and code situations as needed.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Orientation: 12 hours

Background checks and compliance with licensing requirements are necessary.

Must request time off with submission; approved individually.

Commitment to working a designated number of major holidays.
