Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients, ensuring effective management of respiratory conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor pediatric patients respiratory status to develop effective treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, aerosol treatments, and oxygen delivery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain proper operation of respiratory equipment.
  
  
• 
  Comply with licensure and credentialing requirements, including active NJ license.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
  
  
• 
  Have pediatric clinical experience, with demonstrated proficiency in pediatric respiratory care.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work early shifts, including 7:30 AM start times.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
