Preventive Maintenance Technician – Twin Cities Metro & South Central Minnesota

Overview

Join Productivity Inc. as a Preventive Maintenance Technician! This role is available in two locations : the Twin Cities metro area and South Central Minnesota (within ~40 miles of Albert Lea, MN). You’ll travel to customer sites across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC metalworking equipment, ensuring machines operate at peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machine tools and other metal-cutting equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Identify and replace necessary parts, test functionality, and make adjustments.
• Complete and submit paperwork and data entry accurately and on time.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with CNC machinery.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel (50% travel, company vehicle provided).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $28 – $35/hour
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime
