Athletic Trainer (Continuous Recruitment)

Position Summary This posting is part of our ongoing effort to build a network of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Athletic Trainers report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance. Athletic Trainers evaluate athletic injuries, consult with team physicians and/or healthcare professionals, provide health care, and refer patients in support of injury care and injury prevention for 16 varsity sports. Key Job Responsibilities Provide practice and event coverage including evenings and weekends Supervise athletic training facilities and student first aiders Provide care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and documentation of injuries for assigned sport responsibilities Communicate with sports medicine, coaching, and athletic administration staff; sport assignments and other duties to be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer Required Qualifications Master's degree NATA BOC certification; Wisconsin license eligible Current First Aid, CPR, AED certification Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours How to Apply Along with your application, please include your resume and any additional documents needed to display skills and experience.
