Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide front- and back-office support, assist with patient care and clinical procedures, and support daily clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship.

• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.

• EKG and POC testing experience.

• Front- and back-office Medical Assistant experience.

• Strong patient communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• BLS or CPR certification required. Candidates without BLS/CPR may be considered for a pending start with approval.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and room patients.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.

• Schedule appointments and answer phones.

• Provide front- and back-office clinical support.

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.

• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support smooth clinic operations.
