People like you!Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesLearning the processes of how products are made and all the steps that go into it.Learning about site-specific equipment and how it should properly function.Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipmentTroubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instrumentsDismantling and reassembling of equipment using hand and power tools.Inspecting and assessing the wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission componentsUtilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the Company's procedures, rules, and regulations.QualificationsThe position is subject to 24-hour call-out, shift, and weekend work.Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas.Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environmentMillwright skills, welding and machining experience preferredExcellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipmentAbility to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manualsMust be able to work with computer-based maintenance softwareMust supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environmentBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
