Operations Lead

Protect the accuracy, integrity, and salability of our client's inventory entrusted to us, through adherence to standard operating procedures and meeting physical inventory and/or cycle count accuracy expectations. Direct appropriate warehousing team. Run all necessary reports to determine effective action to maximize building capacity. Complete all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents. Read and understand general instructions and prepare written reports. Understand and use the company’s warehouse management system and our time‑keeping system. Handle all products according to customer and employer procedures. Communicate changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel. Complete warehouse worksheet. Communicate and advise Supervisor of operational issues that may involve other departments. Understand company goals and work to create an environment for success. Support company safety, quality, and productivity initiatives. Interact with various levels of local management concerning daily activities. Comply with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual. Communicate effectively with Transportation, Warehouse, Management, Co‑workers, and Customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent (Required). Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business‑related field (Preferred). 3 years of forklift experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Warehouse Management System experience. Must be able to excel in a team‑oriented environment and be comfortable leading teams to achieve safety, productivity, and quality goals. Must be "hands on", able to handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Physical & Mental Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires the ability to: hear, read, comprehend, write, and communicate. Continuously sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion. Occasionally stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, or reach. Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capacities. Accept moderate overtime and occasional weekend work. Work various shifts on short notice.
