Engagement: Full-time What you'll do Lead and supervise a team of workers on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track with goals. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Facilitate effective communication among team members, management, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives. Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets, to ensure transparency and accountability. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve any issues that may arise during project execution. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines. Ensure that all equipment and materials are available and in good working condition to support project activities. Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or engineering sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar position. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of individuals. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the workplace. Proficient in using project management software and tools to track progress and manage resources effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly to various stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications in project management or safety (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are highly desirable. Nice to have Experience in the mining or infrastructure sectors, particularly in supervisory roles. Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in project management. Previous experience working in remote or challenging environments. Knowledge of advanced technology and tools used in project management and construction.
