Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at Surfside Laundry, located in the vibrant community of Panama City Beach, FL, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality laundry production. You will be responsible for coordinating workflows, managing staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards to meet and exceed production targets. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the day-to-day production activities on the laundry floor, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and according to company standards. Lead, motivate, and train production team members to enhance productivity, maintain high morale, and foster a positive working environment. Monitor equipment operation and coordinate regular maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance. Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures, making sure all employees adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with inventory and supply chain departments to ensure that necessary materials and resources are available to maintain continuous workflow. Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports, and communicate daily progress and challenges to upper management. Identify areas for process improvements and work collaboratively with management to implement changes that boost efficiency and reduce costs. Requirements Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or laundry environment is highly preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage workflows and team priorities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with staff at all levels. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards relevant to production operations. Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly and efficiently. Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.
