Position Overview:

Royal Community Support is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with community-based support, small outings, and activities that promote independence and integration within the community.

We have part-time & full time roles offering the following schedules available:

1. 3:30pm -5:30 PM TUES/WED: 3P-5P

2. 9A-3P FRIDAY zip code 07727 (Full time w/ benefits)

3. 10:00 am-1:00 pm Mon,Wed, Fri ( Saturday flexible, not mandatory) must like swimming with this energetic person in her 20' s.zip code 07764- WEST LONG BRANCH

4. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility)

5.Friday (11A-4P) & 3pm -7pm & One other day during the week

6.Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am- 3:30pm - transporting a college student to college and remain on campus to bring him home.

  Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

• Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement. 

• Support participation in small outings and community-based activities. 

• Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care. 

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times. 

Qualifications:  

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. 

• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening. 

• Ability to work legally in the United States. 

• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness. 

• Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
