Here's what it takes to make yours count.RequirementsPrevious industrial, production, or automotive painting experience requiredExperience using automatic spray systems, electrostatic sprayers, and conventional spray gunsAbility to mix paints and solvents according to manufacturer specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to wear a respirator and required PPE while workingMust pass a pulmonary function test and respirator fit testJob DutiesApply liquid paint, varnishes, and protective coatings to metal parts using automated and manual spray equipmentSet up, operate, and perform touch-ups in automatic paint booths and spray systemsClean and prepare paint booths before color changes using compressed airSelect and prepare paints and materials according to work ordersManually paint hard-to-reach areas prior to automated painting processesMix paints and solvents while operating automated paint mixing equipmentMove parts through painting, flashing, and drying stages to ensure proper curingInspect finished parts and perform touch-ups or corrections to meet quality standardsClean and flush paint delivery systems, maintain paint booth filters, and coordinate equipment maintenance as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while assisting with other paint line operations as requiredMore Than Just a Paycheck.
