Customer Service Representative (Parking & Transportation Services)

University of Chicago | Chicago, IL (Onsite)

$21/hr W2 | Full-Time Contract | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


Epitec is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support the University of Chicago's Transportation & Parking Services department.


This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing support to both internal teams and external customers.


Responsibilities:

• Process parking permit sales and customer transactions.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues via phone and email.
• Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
• Support parking and transportation operations, including shuttle and transit programs.
• Run reports, maintain parking inventory records, and analyze operational data.
• Coordinate with vendors to maintain parking equipment and systems.
• Assist with event parking and transportation logistics across campus.
• Support special projects and day-to-day administrative operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Parking operations.
• Transportation or transit services.
• Permit sales.
• Administrative support.
• Transaction processing and customer-facing roles.
