Shift Information

This position offers a Day 5x8-Hour shift from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and support across various units.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Adhere to best practices and standards of care.

Call Requirements

This role requires availability for two shifts a week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM on weekdays, and from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on weekends.

Qualifications

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is a hard requirement.
Experience in charge roles is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of concurrent experience in the specialty is required.
Experience with EPIC or a combination of EPIC/Cerner systems in the last 6 months is mandatory.
CA Nursing License (Temporary or Permanent, EMSA not accepted) must be in hand at the time of application.

Floating and Coverage Requirements

RNs specializing in ICU, SDU, and Telemetry may be required to float to other locations or units depending on operational needs.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination

COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
The requirement for the flu vaccine is currently unknown.

Additional Requirements

Submit valid copies of all required certifications (e.g., Nursys for RNs), ensuring they are AHA certified if BLS, ACLS, or PALS are included.
Availability for interviews within three business days of submission is preferred.
One supervisory reference is required.
