Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients using the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret assessments, administer medications, and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, neonatal, and support teams; assist with discharge planning and care coordination
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; delegate duties as appropriate
- Document all patient care in the electronic medical record (EPIC); ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Educate patients and families; provide psychosocial support and assist with transitions of care

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Oregon required)
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in labor and delivery or a related acute care setting
- BLS certification from an approved vendor (CPR or equivalent as required)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required (department-specific)
- EPIC experience is required
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift schedule in a labor and delivery unit
