This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.As a A220 Heavy Maintenance Project Specialist you work as a project manager supporting Maintenance Centers and Airlines A220 c-check activity. You will be responsible for the complete customer order handling process for c-check part requirements and coordinate a multi functional team to collaborate and work towards expediting and delivering all parts on-time. You will also lead customer meetings while presenting to customers the c-check orders status, addressing concerns and aligning on priorities.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare, lead and steer internal MFT and customer meetingsMaintain C-check file and ensure all relevant information is availableResponsible for C-Check file related external and internal stakeholder communication (Customer Order View, Reporting File)Ensure all functions have performed their required checklists, incl. their ownMeasures, analyses and utilizes key performance indicators (KPIs) on behalf of the group in order to manage material order activity.Ownership for C-Check project and its order linesPerform Heavy Maintenance Manager C-Check ChecklistOpen technical support cases with Airbus Canada (e.g. PN Activation, interchangeability, etc.)Clarifies technical queries utilizing technical documentation and/or liaises with technical and engineering departments.Provides consistently high quality responses to all customer related requests for all materials and related services to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.About You:Preferably equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, OR a combination of education and relevant experience, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:3+ years experience working in the aviation industryKnowledge of aircraft maintenance and/or airline operations is highly desirableTechnical proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace and skilled in basic IT tools.Physical Requirements:Onsite or remote: On-siteLifting and Carrying: Able to carry up to 30 pounds on an intermittent basis.Hearing: Corrected hearing able to respond to emergency alarms, alerts and warnings.
