Chef de Cuisine – Relocate to Washington, DC

Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of relevant culinary management experience, ideally in Italian fine dining or upscale restaurants with units generating $4–5 million
Deep understanding of seasonal ingredients, plating aesthetics, and kitchen management
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual demeanor
Demonstrated drive for exceptional guest service
Open availability
Professional appearance and grooming standards suitable for premier fine dining

Chef de Cuisine Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
Develop and execute seasonal menus with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and consistency
Oversee all kitchen operations, including inventory, costing, and vendor relationships
Uphold the highest standards of health, sanitation, and safety
Foster a culture of respect, discipline, and positive growth within the kitchen
