Temporary Material Handler (3-Month Contract)The Temporary Material Handler is responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.Location: Portland, OR (onsite)Your ChallengeMaintain a clean and orderly receiving area, warehouse & production floorWith supervision, will perform cycle countingWill perform kit pulling for production work ordersWith supervision will be verifying contents of packages received, stocking items on shelves and labeling product or binsWith supervision may be packing finished product for shippingPerformance requires physical attendanceWith supervision will perform basic inventory movements, location changes and inventory consolidationsOther duties as assignedWhat You BringOne year of experience in material control or equivalentExperience with material handling equipmentGood interpersonal and customer service skills required when working with other departments within the companyGood reading comprehension skills. Able to read and understand SOP's.
