Location: California (Multiple Locations) Compensation: $26–$35 per hour Schedule: Flexible, Variable Assignments About Night Doula Night Doula is a San Francisco-based company that connects families with certified postpartum doulas across the United States. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, professional support to new mothers and their families during the postpartum period. As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and certified doulas throughout California to join our network and provide exceptional care to families with varying needs and schedules. Position Overview We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and certified doulas with proven experience supporting mothers and newborns. Assignments may range from short-term to ongoing engagements, with flexible hours based on each family's needs. Responsibilities Provide overnight postpartum support to mothers and newborns. Assist with infant feeding, soothing, diapering, and establishing healthy sleep routines. Educate and support parents during the postpartum period. Monitor newborn well-being and communicate observations to parents. Offer emotional support and guidance to families. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and professional environment. Qualifications Required Certification as a Postpartum Doula from a recognized organization. Minimum of 1 year of postpartum or newborn care experience. Proven experience working with infants and supporting mothers during the postpartum period. CPR and Infant First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on assignment). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible schedules. Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your local area. Preferred Experience with multiples (twins, triplets). Lactation support knowledge or certification. Background in nursing, newborn care, or maternal health. Bilingual skills are a plus.
