OPERATING ROOM CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN
Shift: 7 AM - 3PM Alternating Weekends.
Starting Salary: $37.41 ( Years of experience can inflate the starting salary rate )
:
- Assists surgeon during operative procedures.
- Ensures operation suite is adequately prepared for procedure.
- Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies.
- Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.
- Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement and activities.
Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
- Preferred minimum of 1 year Operating Room related experience
- Preferred minimum of 1 year Neurology related experience NBSTSA
- National certification as a surgical technologist required
- Legible handwriting
- Good communication skills (written, verbal and telephone)
- BLS required
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): OR Related Experience
Education
Required- High School Diploma/Equiv or better in High School Diploma
Licenses & Certifications
Required- NBSTSA CERTIFICATION
- BLS CERT AMERICAN HEART
