Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tues 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, assisting with access control procedures, visitor processing, and verification of authorized movement within the location. Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing shipping, receiving, and inventory movement areas, reporting policy violations, damaged property, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
