Production Team Leader Weekend 3rd

Duties Coordinates, facilitates, and directs the daily activities of hourly manufacturing Associates. Sets up the production line to the specification of the customer’s order and works closely with various departments to ensure that parts are manufactured according to customer’s specifications. Ensures that appropriate parts and quantity of parts are run according to production schedule. Communicates any safety, quality, and/or production related issues with Supervisor or appropriate management representative. Coordinates housekeeping activities of the area. Provides necessary training to new associates and documents said training. Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in the shift. Works with Supervisor and other leaders to identify and address inefficiencies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices. Experience with Excel/ERP (hand scanner is a plus). Basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel knowledge (GP a plus). Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. 1‑2 years of previous lead experience preferred, not required. Physical requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend, and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day. Must be able to lift up to 25‑50 lbs at a time. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
