Shipping & Receiving CoordinatorThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator helps keep materials moving safely and on time in a busy steel fabrication shop. This role is responsible for scheduling shipments and deliveries, checking incoming materials, preparing shipping paperwork, and working with the shop team, vendors, and drivers to make sure everything is accurate and organized.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, construction, or a similar roleExperience with shipping paperwork such as bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase ordersBasic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and data entryStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentSafety-minded and dependableExperience in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing is a plusForklift or overhead crane experience is a plus (training provided if needed)Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule outgoing shipments and incoming deliveriesMake sure materials are ready before they are shippedPrepare shipping paperwork and delivery documentsReceive and inspect incoming materialsReport damaged, missing, or incorrect shipmentsEnter shipping and receiving information into the systemHelp coordinate safe loading and unloading of trucksKeep the shipping and storage areas clean and organizedAssist with inventory counts and material organizationCommunicate with drivers, vendors, and the shop team to keep deliveries on scheduleBenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision, and Disability InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays401(k) with Employer Match (100% Vested from Day One)Weekly PayAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
