Kurita's corporate philosophy is to study the properties of water, master them and create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmonyTravel: 50-80% Within territory with occasional overnight travelLocation: Northern California (Fresno to Sacramento)Compensation: $130K to $150K plus uncapped bonus potentialLead and develop team in sales skills, new growth and account retention.Manage team of 8 Sales & Service Reps within TerritoryResponsibilitiesAdvise and lead customer application changes according to customer needsManage sales and service time to achieve optimal resultsHire, train, supervise and dismiss sales reps as necessary for regionPrepare and execute regularly scheduled sales meetingsEmphasize the value and benefits of compliance with the Kurita America Total Quality Management System requirementsEnhance sales rep performance by expanding customer base and increasing market shareShare market knowledge with other sales reps and managersDetermine objectives and goals for sales reps in regionReview sales rep sales and service activity vs. regional contribution for regionVerify reps completing, service reports, business and contract reviews as requiredView and sign-off on contract agreements and work sheetsVerify sales reps managing contract agreements, completing and submitting necessary formsTrack customer satisfaction for region accounts, determine improvement opportunities to increase level of customer satisfactionImplement KAI training programs that will improve sales rep success rate and retentionTrack sales rep training completion and assist as necessary to improve knowledge and abilitiesActive participation in trade associationsPromote Kurita America vision and mission throughout the water treatment industryActively maintain relationships with key corporate and individual accountsEntertain key customer contacts and personnel to solidify and improve business relationshipPerformance of other duties as assignedQualifications5 years' experience in water treatment or industrial sales.Previous leadership history would be a plus.Knowledge of water chemistry and applicationsProven sales success with previous positions that show consistent growth in quantity, total dollar value, increased profit margin and number of accounts soldStrong communication skillsAble to successfully lead, manage, and train sales reps to increase region valueAbility to either drive a company car or be on the Kurita America FAVR programEqual Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities
