Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $11.00 - $17.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance or premiums that may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team member execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…). Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Process all buy online / ship to store, hub, store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods and stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate as assigned Image Maker and merchandising tasks. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules, obtain approvals for changes/deviations from management, and clock in/out according to company policy. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day–end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring all night security lights are on, locking doors and securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/locking delivery vehicles parked in secure areas. Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Strong communication skills. Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. Desired: Automotive systems and repair knowledge. Desired: ASE Certification.
