Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. This role involves managing and processing payroll efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment. Assist with garnishments and deductions, ensuring all processes comply with legal requirements. Collaborate with the manager to resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly and effectively. Handle other payroll functions as required, contributing to the smooth operation of the payroll department. Qualifications Proven experience in payroll processing and related functions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle payroll discrepancies efficiently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Required Work Hours Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. The position offers competitive pay, ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The Payroll Specialist position is integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
