We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.$2000 Sign on Bonus when you join our team!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work from different specifications, blueprints, drawings, and weld symbolsLay out materials and components which are then welded into position by welders or robotsWeld and assemble different pieces by using hand held welding equipment such as hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures; utilize different materials (plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing)Test and inspect welded components to ensure they meet set specifications before moving to the next departmentPrepare and complete work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metalLoad and operate robotic welders; troubleshoot basic programming issues and promptly inform Supervisor of any issuesUtilize ruler, square, templates, and gauges to take and read measurementsOperate cranes, hoists, lift tables, and lift trucksReport damages on machines and equipment; maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyReport all unsafe conditions to managementPerforms other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.Assist and work in related areas in the manufacturing of products our business producesComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum Qualifications:No minimum education required2+ years of relevant work experiencePrior experience with solid core wires and argon/oxygen welding gassesPrior experience MIG welding of structural steel and plateand scope of dutiesIntermediate knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines and cutting torches using cutting steel, acetylene and other cutting methodsKnowledge of and ability to work multiple working stations (tackout, weld out, deck assembly, frame weld, EOD, truck restraints)Attention to detailAbility to work within an ERP systemAbility to use an ERP systemAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, and feelAbility to climb and balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to see, talk, and hear#INDMFG1The pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
