Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students throughout the 2026/2027 school year on a full-time contract. Utilize your expertise and passion for communication sciences in a school-based setting near Kenosha, WI, working with a vibrant and supportive team dedicated to student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for Wisconsin)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School experience is highly valued, especially in elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, design treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all documentation requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop goals and track improvements
- Provide both direct and consultative services as indicated by student needs and IEPs
- Engage in parent education and support as part of the ongoing care for students
