Shift: Nights | 7:30 PM – 8:30 AM
Schedule: 3×11.5 | 34.5 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $70 - $78/hr.
Department: HAR01 4NW MOM BABY, Harlem

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years Maternal & Child experience

Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

License & Certifications:

• New York State RN License
• NYSED Primary Source Verification
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NRP Certification

Position Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to postpartum and mother-baby patients, utilizing clinical assessment, patient care planning, monitoring, and evidence-based nursing practices to support safe and quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients and identify their individual care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide direct patient care in the postpartum/mother-baby setting.
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
• Support patients requiring conscious sedation according to applicable protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
