Description:
The position is for a respiratory therapist.
The unit has 290 beds and employs 21 staff members.
Day shift includes 6 therapists and a supervisor.
Night shift consists of 4 therapists.
The patient ratio is conducive to effective care.
Equipment used includes Servo and 840.
The electronic medical record system is user-friendly.
Typical procedures performed include nebulizer treatments and arterial blood gas sampling.
The role involves assisting with intubation and code responses.
Team collaboration is essential, and a busy environment is expected.
Candidates with a background in meditech and ventilator experience are preferred.
The ideal candidate should be a team player.
Traveler will be scheduled according to facility policy.
Working every other weekend and holidays in rotation is a requirement.
