A Day in the Life

Morning starts with a coordination check-in—aligning schedules, verifying submittal statuses, and confirming material lead times. Midday, you’ll help route contracts and change orders, track approvals, and update cost logs. In the afternoon, you may be on a jobsite conducting field quality observations or joining a project meeting. Throughout, you’ll communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep information flowing and milestones on track.

What You’ll Handle

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Support procurement of materials and services for active projects
• Help distribute scopes of work to subcontractors and vendors
• Assist with subcontract creation and the change order process
• Support project accounting and track contract change orders
• Coordinate and route contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Administer and track project costs, including accounting updates and approvals
• Coordinate project schedules and uphold communication protocols
• Participate in field quality control and attend job meetings as needed
• Assist in closeout: submittals, documentation, and closeout requirements
• Travel to project sites 2–3 days per week

What You’ll Bring

• Required: 2‑ or 4‑year degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Construction
• Preferred: 2+ years in a similar role within commercial building construction
• Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented; able to juggle multiple priorities
• Comfort with computers and standard office equipment
• Solid, consistent work history
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Professional references required
