POSITION:  Electrical - Project Coordinator                

DWS ENERGY  Founded in 2014, DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary electrical construction company focused on commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage (new construction and operations & maintenance), building controls wiring, and electrical pre-fabrication solutions in our UL-508A certified panel shop. The organization has expanded its service offerings throughout its tenure and continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

OVERVIEW:  This position contributes to success of DWS Energy by providing project management support to ensure all construction projects are completed in accordance with the Client and DWS requirements.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing daily operations activities on multiple concurrent projects including timelines, scheduling, task lists, contract admin, and invoicing.

DUTIES:  The duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator may include but are not limited to:

• Meet with Operations Managers on a regular basis for all current issues and to review future project needs.
• Create Project Start Up worksheet for each new project and maintain daily review of worksheet to push along all relevant items.
• Create and maintain the project files, Submittal sets, Drawing sets, and project information sheets.
• Create and maintain a Photo Log of job progress.
• Create and maintain a workload task list for all items requested by others including those needed to keep up with all assigned work. Maintain project whiteboard, by Task and Workers.
• Provide correspondence assistance for the Operations Managers as required to assist in the project completion.
• Document Change Order requests as required for the project based on direction from the Operations Manager.
• Create and manage the Close-Out process for all assigned projects.
• Assist in reviewing invoices and job costs tracking
• Maintain jobsite safety records and logs
• Assist Estimating in developing project cost estimates for Project Change Orders and potentially in pre-construction activities
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:  The following are required skills and qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and document work effectively
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to use MS Office Suite, Project Mgmt., and accounting software

REQUIREMENTS:  The following are physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials.
• Must be able to do prolonged periods of sitting at desks, stooping, kneeling, bending
• Occasional exposure to outside weather on job sites.
• Ability to walk job sites for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to occasionally lift at least 35 lbs. solo and 50 lbs. in tandem lifts.
