Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology license is required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students as determined by their IEPs
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to student goal setting, and provide recommendations for support strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document related service activities in compliance with school and state regulations
• Offer consultation and training to educators and parents to facilitate classroom and home-based speech interventions
