Senior Manager, Scientific and Laboratory Informatics

Overview Accenture’s Scientific Informatics practice helps clients transform scientific and laboratory processes through digital solutions. Responsibilities Lead and mentor team members and peer leaders. Develop thought leadership to grow the brand and enhance industry recognition. Articulate a strategic vision for digital laboratory operations across people, process, technology, and data. Actively manage risks to client engagements, practice performance, and brand reputation. Ensure appropriate quality processes are in place and being followed. Provide accountability for meeting client objectives and contractual commitments. Serve as an escalation point for issues affecting client satisfaction and delivery quality. Provide performance feedback to management. Proactively coach project resources to increase knowledge and effectiveness. Demonstrate business and political savvy when interacting with client organizations. Articulate clear value propositions and business cases for clients. Oversee and manage delivery of strategic engagements with clients. Initiate, build, and maintain excellent client relationships. Requirements 8+ years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D and/or QC manufacturing spaces. Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering. Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations. Bonus Points Prior experience in a consulting firm or scientific/laboratory informatics firm. Master’s degree.
