As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements; report suspicious activity, property damage, and maintenance concerns. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
