Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination in MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while reporting security-related concerns and assisting visitors. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
- Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
