Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment through responsive customer service, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures, while documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-directed post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
