As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
- Assist with access control activities, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with facility policies.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
