As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
