As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will engage professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
