Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Five Year Experience in SAN JOSE, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. DayTimeFri08:00 PM - 04:30 AMSat08:00 PM - 04:30 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within and around the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least five years of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
