As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
