The successful candidate, an established investigator of national and international stature, will advance research within the department of Neurosurgery, Mayo Clinic Arizona (MCA), and Mayo Clinic enterprise, in alignment with strategic priorities. This Career Scientist will be fully devoted to Research, and play a vital role in advancing scientific discovery in neuro-oncology and neurovascular neurosurgery, fostering innovation, and supporting the translation of research into clinical practice. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside world-class neurosurgeons, clinicians, and researchers in a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes and revolutionizing the field of neurosurgery and neuro-oncology through cutting edge data science and clinical trials. Commitment to mentorship, education, and the advancement of scientific knowledge in neurosurgery is desired. Appointment and academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications.
