Senior Embedded Engineer - Camera Platform

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang.
• Translate product requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with streaming, storage, AI engineering, and product teams on edge computing features.
• Lead code reviews, guide debugging, and maintain coding standards and code quality.
• Drive and coordinate regular over-the-air releases while balancing delivery speed, stability, and reliability.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional systems software development experience in performance- and resource-constrained environments.
• Proficiency in C++ or Golang.
• 2+ years of experience building software for Linux-based platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern operating systems, computer architecture, and compute, memory, and storage trade-offs.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and Python for tooling and automation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week.
• Experience developing on-device software for cloud-connected devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux Kernel development is preferred.
